I heard of her at school. Sometimes I'd see the people she infected walking down the hall. Like Lucy, beautiful Lucy. Missed five months of class because of her. I used to think I wasn't like her. I thought I'd always love my body, no matter what. But then she took Leslie, a family friend. And then Anna, my cousin. She was getting closer, I could feel her breath in my ear as she whispered 'Look how fat you are'. But I ignored her. 'I just ate. It's probably because I just ate'. To distracts me from the scale and the mirrors, I watched television everyday. Somehow escaped into another world. But I couldn't hide. She came in my favourite series

After meeting the whole team, we sat at a table and started talking. All I could feel was my heart pounding in my chest. I was careful not to show my hands, that were shaking incessantly. 'Please don’t notice how nervous I am', I thought as Simon turned to me.
-So you are 13 years old?, he asked nicely.
-And a half, I added, trying to sound as casual as possible.
I saw my father looking at me and noticed a look in his eyes; he knew how much I was screaming inside.
-You know, it's always been my daugh

My meeting with Simon Baker
I stepped into this huge theatre with my father holding my hand. There was alot of people and I didn't like it. They were all looking around, trying to find seats. Even though I was extremely uncomfortable with this crowd, I felt a great excitement sending shivers everywhere in my body. It was the day of my thirteenth birthday and my father took me to this violin concerto. He told me I would love my birthday surprise, but I didn't feel like it was that much of a big deal. We found a seat. They were cosy and I figuredd it would be a nice place to fall asleep during the show. Great. The man on the stage took a microphone and spoke a bit. It fel

Dan's POV
The street me and Phil were walking down was incredibly busy. There was hardly enough room to move. I had to keep a tight grip on his hand just so that we wouldn't lose each other. The Phangirls would go crazy if they saw us holding hands so I was determined to just get home. I was just walking down the street trying to not bump into people w
I still remember the look on your face. Bit through the darkness at 1.58. The words that you whispered for just us to hear. You told me you loved me, so why did you go?
I do recall, the smell of the rain. Fresh on the pavement, I ran off the train. That October day, the beat of your heart. It jumped through your shirt, I can still feel your arms.
But now I just sit on the floor wearing your clothes. All that I know is I could not, be everything that you would need. I never thought we'd have a last kiss. Never imagined we'd end like this. Your name, is forever the name on my lips. Just like our last kiss.
I do remember the swing in your ste
Dear Phil,
I know you won’t be able to read this but I like to believe that you can somehow. I can’t do it anymore, Phil. You were everything to me, you always will be. But now you’re gone I can’t do this anymore. I know you said I shouldn’t blame myself but how could I not? You stormed out of the apartment because of me, even worse I didn’t follow you. You have no idea how much I wish I had followed you out. I could’ve grabbed your arm and spun you around and kissed you. I should’ve known where you were going; I should’ve known that had relapsed. I should’ve known you never really r
Fight the hunger,
Push it back –
I'm not hungry.
I'm not hungry.
I'm so fat
They pick on me –
I'll prove them wrong,
I'll get thin.
I'm not hungry.
I'm not hungry.
Must stay top
Of every class –
Make them proud,
Make them pleased
That I'm around.
I'm not hungry.
I'm not hungry.
"Yes, I'm fine!"
Why do I snap?
Why do I shout?
Why do they ask
If I'm ok?
I'm not hungry.
I'm not hungry.
"Look, we're worried…"
Like heck you are!
You just don't want
Competition
When I'm thin
And beautiful.
"Yes mum, I ate my lunch…"
Fingers crossed behind my back.
"Can I have an apple?
I'm darn starved!"
I'm not hungry.
I'm not h
